The next big topic you’re gonna’ need to do some serious thinking about- will be the answer to this HUGE, and largely relevant question; “What will my content be about?” Or, in other words; What is my niche? Plenty of people who try to make money on TikTok end up just making content, and not very good content, to be honest. But that’s most likely because; 

  1. They didn’t do enough research on potential niches, and  
  1. They didn’t use ‘SEO(Search Engine Optimization) or SEO principles. Even though TikTok is not a search engine in the traditional sense, using relevant keywords, hashtags, and trending sounds can significantly boost a video’s visibility and reach. 
  1. By ignoring SEO principles, you would be limiting your content’s discoverability, hindering its potential to gain traction and attract a wider audience.    
  1. They didn’t do any soul searching about potential niches.

Soul-Searching for a Niche. 

When I say “soul-searching for a niche,” I legit mean soul-searching. Anyone can make lame content nowadays, and plenty of people try too hard and end up making fools out of themselves. But when you take the time to really think about what you have expertise in, what you are passionate about, and why you are passionate about it. BAM! That’s the beginning of making good content. Are you super passionate about your family, your kids, and being a freaking awesome mom? Cool, there’s your niche. Be authentic, create genuine content about the funny things your kids say and do, and fun activities you all do together. As long as you don’t turn into one of “those influencer moms.”  You know the ones I’m talking about- the ones that push their kids way too hard and start dressing them differently, making them repeat lines all day, and pretending that you guys sing Frozen theme songs on every car ride. Haha.  

Are you an amazing cook, or maybe you’re the goofy friend? Use what you know, and create AUTHENTIC content, trust me, your audience can tell when it’s authentic or not. Remember, be one of a kind, be genuine, don’t take pranks too far (those people are such jerks), and don’t be an a-hole to people for views. I absolutely can’t stand those types of content creators. It drives me crazy seeing people disrespect others, or be rude, belligerent in public, or whatever they’re doing nowadays, for likes and views. Shaking my damn head at those people.
